The Trustees Emeriti of the Community Foundation have just announced that Greater Naples Leadership is the recipient of this year’s Excellence in Leadership Award. The award is presented annually, as part of the Celebration of Philanthropy, to a civic organization whose members’ volunteer service to a program or project in our community has made a demonstrable impact.
Christine Flynn (VII) and her husband Terry, will receive the Robert C. Cosgrove Award that acknowledges individuals who represent devotion to human values, families and the well-being of our community. These awards, along with two others, will be presented at the Community Foundation’s Celebration of Philanthropy event on Friday, November 1, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at Grey Oaks Country Club. During the last 24 years, consistent with our mission, GNL has had a massive impact in our community. GNL’s dedicated members have been and continue to be involved in literally hundreds of non-profit and civic organizations, serving on boards and committees, helping to enrich and improve the quality of life in Greater Naples. This award truly represents the collective efforts of all of our members over the years. It is is a true honor for GNL to be recognized by this prestigious award.
