Naples, FL – 4/5/16 – Greater Naples Leadership (GNL) is pleased to announce the nonprofit organization’s Masters Class XXI.
“These men and women of proven achievement, many of whom are new to this area, will carry forward our mission of volunteer service to the community,” stated Ed Boyer, president, as he announced the 2016 – 2017 class.
Now in its third decade, Greater Naples Leadership continues to provide exceptional opportunities for its members to improve the community and enrich their lives through first-hand learning experiences, rewarding relationships with accomplished, like-minded individuals and unparalleled access to meaningful board and volunteer roles.
From October 2016 through March 2017, Class XXI members will participate in sessions that focus on history, culture, healthcare, education, the environment, economic development, human services, government, Immokalee and law enforcement, as well as receive exposure to volunteer opportunities.
The nine sessions include presentations, panel discussions, on-site visits and field trips that are planned by members of the previous Masters Class and overseen by the Class Leaders.
A full 75% of active Alumni Association members report contributing a minimum of 24 hours a month to their volunteer commitments after graduating from the GNL Masters Program.
