(Naples, FL) Greater Naples Leadership (GNL) is pleased to announce their 2021-2022 slate of Board Officers and Directors elected during a virtual GNL annual meeting held on April 27, 2021.

The nonprofit’s newly elected Board assumed office on May 1, 2021, and includes the following individuals (new members are noted with an asterisk*):

Newly elected GNL Board President Gerald (Jerry) Godshaw has been a member of GNL since 2015 and has served as Chair of the Community Services Committee and the Strategic Planning Committee. Most recently, he led the successful GNL Hunger Initiative to educate and encourage members to volunteer at various nonprofits, organize food drives or participate in other activities that made a significant contribution to the dire need to feed the hungry in Collier County.

Jerry Godshaw stated, “We look forward to a year of getting back to meeting in person and even greater service by our members to local civic and nonprofit organizations.”

Jerry Godshaw spent almost 40 years working as an economist in Washington DC for the government, Wharton Econometrics and as a Partner at Arthur Andersen and Principal at Deloitte.  He has been part of the Naples community since 2010 serving as president of his homeowner’s association, as well as on the Boards of Naples area nonprofits and civic organizations.  Jerry previously was on the executive committee and active with Collier Citizens Council and a member of the county’s Advisory Committee on Mental Health and Addiction.
