Handshakes, hugs, hellos, and surprised smiles of recognition added a warm welcome to an already warm Naples mid-October day as the newest members of Greater Naples Leadership gathered at Mediterra for the opening session of Masters Class XVI. First thing in the morning was a round of self-introductions, some complete with props and costumes.

Introductions were followed by a team exercise in community improvement projects over lunch and into the afternoon.  It was soon apparent that the Class was already forming bonds, which will grow over the next 6 months.

The day ended with a Class Photo on the Piazza stairs, followed by the traditional reception with members of the GNL Board and the History Team, which will lead the first session day on Wednesday, October 19.  It’s a “great” class–and there was a lot of discussion about what the class adjective will be, so we will stand by to find out what it is.
