The Leadership Collier Foundation™ in partnership with the United Way of Collier County, the Community Foundation, and Greater Naples Leadership invite community members to learn more about opportunities to volunteer in our community at our fourth annual “Get Involved Collier! Volunteer Expo.” The volunteer expo is held each year in the fall at the Hilton Naples.
Over 60 local non-profit organizations that have volunteer and board of director opportunities are waiting to meet you at the annual, FREE Volunteer Expo! Attend to learn how you can impact Collier County by volunteering your time and talent.
This year we are hosting three break out session to support deeper learning and engagement.

3:00 – 3:45 p.m. – “Developing a Culture of Volunteerism”
Find out how you can include volunteer initiatives to support talent development and retention in your business with John DeAngelis, co-founder of DeAngelis Diamond.
4:00 – 4:45 p.m. – “Building Better Boards”
Learn how to make the most of your board member experience with Missy Lamont, executive director of Naples Therapeutic Riding Center, and Anthony McClure, president of Board of Directors for Naples Therapeutic Riding Center.
5:00 – 5:45 p.m. – “Finding Volunteer Opportunities”
Hear from Spencer Smith, director of programs for United Way of Collier County,and other United Way team members, on how to engage with www.VolunteerCollier.com and best practices for connecting with volunteer opportunities.
Whether you are interested in healthcare, children’s needs, education, animals, homelessness or the arts, this expo will have a wide variety of organizations represented with a plethora of opportunities. As leaders in our community, we have a powerful opportunity to can make a difference.
